For the Zillionth Time...

For the Zillionth Time...

I’m so happy you’re here!! On a personal note, I’m going through a stage where I am realizing for the zillionth time that I am worth literally nothing without Jesus. It is scary, but every single time it happens, God blesses me abundantly, and I wonder why I didn’t just let go and stop trying to do things in my own strength and let God take over. It is ALWAYS better. So, if you feel God tugging at something in your life to “give up,” I’m telling you…it’s always better on the other side.

If there is one thing that I and/or my life is like, it's definitely not still. No, I'm not a still person; my life definitely is not still. It's far from it. It always amazes me how well my son sleeps. He could sleep through a tornado. I remember being able to sleep that well. It was awesome. That stillness comes from knowing that you’ll be taken care of, no matter what. That feeling of a child who knows they have a good father/mother/guardian who will always take care of them, can sleep without a worry in the world. When I am doing things in my own strength, I am always worried about something: money, relationships, time…but when I fall into the presence of the Holy Spirit and let God take the lead in my life, THAT’s when I feel that stillness. I feel that stillness because I KNOW that I have a good Father who will always take care of me.

“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”                                                                                                                                 Matthew 6:25

So, this is what it means to Wear the Word. You’ve got to read your Bible, so you know who God is and start understanding Him on a level that just isn’t possible without reading His word. Once you start learning who God is and start to understand how GOOD He is, you will understand that submitting to Him is literally the best decision you will ever make. Once you “Wear the Word,” walking the word comes natural.

Next blog, I am going to talk about the Nephilim and how many of us miss what is referenced in the very first book of the Bible, Genesis!! See you there!

Love,

Heather
