I’m so glad you’re here! Welcome to my blog!! To continue on about the gravity of reading your Bible, I’ll tell you something that I thought made so much sense. On a podcast called The Deep End, I heard L.A. Marzuli, (super cool guy, and unbelievably knowledgeable about the Bible), explain how “Grays,” like the aliens, are fallen angels because angels are created to know and love God and without that, they become the opposite of what they were created for. Being in the presence of God satisfies their every need. They are spiritually fed through God’s presence. Fallen angels have lost that ability to have their spirits fed by God which is why a “Gray” looks emaciated with a skull-like head, is bony, skinny, and very pale, such as a gray color. Humans are also created to satisfy our spirits by being in the presence of God. When I can feel the Holy Spirit, I instantly get emotional because of the reverence of the Holy Spirit. It’s a need that many people spend their entire lives chasing after anything and everything else to fulfill. Yet, the only thing that satisfies that need is having a close relationship with God, which starts with reading His Word. Now, on to the issue of having difficulties understanding the Bible. Here is my suggestion: Get yourself a Bible that has purposely been translated for easier understanding. These would include The Message Bible, an NIV (New International Version) Bible, or an NLT (New Living Translation) Bible. In addition, there are “Study Bibles.” Study Bibles provide extra context for each scripture. 
Having the right Bible makes a huge difference in your experience and understanding. I have the NIV study Bible, and the footnotes are a total game changer. Anytime I’m looking at a verse that isn’t translating in my head, I look at the footnote for the scripture, and it tells me exactly what I was confused about. It’s amazing! Ok…in my next blog, we’re going to talk about what it is like to know that you have a good father, and, no matter what, you know you will be taken care of. Teens, I am so passionate about your generation becoming truly free and understanding the true meaning of this life. You are created with a purpose!!
